Resolutions, goals, intentions, objectives...

Today's the day. The unofficial first day of the year when it comes to resolutions, goals, intentions or objectives. Mostly, because it's the first Monday of the year and come on who starts anything on a Friday?!?!? We all got a little lucky, three extra days to figure out what we want to accomplish this year.

This year, I am struggling with coming up with any new goals most everything I have thought of is maintaining or getting better at what I am already doing. I believe all of those are prefect in and of themselves but I like new challenges. So, I think what I am going to do this year is add to my list as the year goes. 

Here are my maintenance goals:

Be grateful. 
Love more. 
Dance more in the kitchen. 
Wander, enjoy the journey. 
Share more, create more, make more. 
Eat fresh, healthy, delious food. 
Work out. 
Drink water.
Hold onto my kids a little longer every time. 
Live up to my potential. 

Believe good things will happen.

Things I will do...
Read more, garden more, meditate, explore more, finish projects, blog more, sleep more, forgive, really listen, continue to prepare in advance, care more and care less, make time for the important stuff- family stuff and people stuff. 

That was wrote last year and I still love it today. The format came from a poster I found in 2012, I loved the idea of printing out my goals in a cool way and put it up where I could see it. I did change the original poster to match what I wanted to achieve but did take a lot from it.


As you can see, when I find something I like and something that works for me I stick with it! Although the past few years I have been writing my goals in my bullet journal but still using the same ideas. 

I am excited about 2016 and the changes that will come with this year and I am ready for whatever challenges come my way. This year will be amazing and exciting! Here's to our new year!
